The ‘International Health Foundation’ awards have been created as a symbol of the character and ends of the Foundation. They are given not only to scientific work in the health sector but, more importantly, to the social, cultural and humane work carried out by people, institutions and teams related to all aspects of the field of health.
The most relevant objective of the giving of these awards is the recognition of achievements whose effects and contribution to society are clear and well known. The awards are subject, in every moment, to the seriousness and rigor that the Foundation seeks in all its activities.
The awards are given each year and are divided in to 3 categories; institutional, professional and best social work.
INSTITUTIONAL AWARDS
With these awards the Foundation aims to recognize and make people aware of the work and constant investigation carried out by institutions, organizations or bodies that, on a day to day basis and with professional commitment, produce work of interest to the health sector.
PROFESSIONAL AWARDS
These awards are meant to recognize the work carried out by professionals that has, in some way, contributed to the improvement in the attention given to the patient and his/ her quality of life.
SOCIAL WORK AWARDS
Last but not least we try to give recognition to those organizations that have, due to their interest, efforts and work, contributed to the improvement in health and the patient’s quality of life.
