Fisalud wants to approach new areas in the health sector, improve the current offer and standards of debate and training and obtain the recognition of all parties in terms of credible communication and information as well as a capacity to influence.
FISALUD’s observatory is the part of the Foundation that carries out the studies and analysis that has previously been agreed by the patrons. It also counts on the support of the advisory board that is made up of a group of experts that analyze the big issues and challenges facing the Spanish health sector.
With independence and rigorous methodology this observatory aims to lead the information and evaluation in the health sector through 3 lines of activity.
SPECIFIC STUDIES
Studies will be carried out by FISALUD on specific matters of maximum interest related to the health sector, such as current health affairs, health policies, opinions or improvements to the health system.
These studies, that will be will be done by experts in the relevant areas and, moreover, will be used in different training programmes given by the Foundation, aim to become a useful source of information and consultation for that are interested in each field.
FISALUD’S HEALTH THERMOMETER
Our health thermometer gathers together a number of different periodic and measurable indicators which allows us to evaluate the development of the Spanish sanitary system. The periodic marks from each of these indicators will serve to offer a photographic evolution as the objective element of the analysis.
The calculation of the indices will be carried out taking into account; objective published information, the opinion of different health professionals, patients, laboratories as well as the information produced by ourselves.
The thermometer will offer specific information about the situation of the Spanish health in clearly defined moments. Allowing comparisons in time as well as checking the evolution of the variables taken into account.
