The principle objective of the IHF is the search for excellence in the Spanish health system in order that the patient is able to receive the best and most effective treatment.
In order to achieve this the IHF incorporates, among its social commitments, the work of promoting health through different activities of health education and the encouragement of healthy habits focused mainly on the general public and specific training programmes for professionals.
With the objective of promoting all types of activities related to health matters the Foundation aims to maintain awareness and knowledge about health issues and tries to give information about the different activities of the medical societies, public institutions and all the bodies that work within the framework and related areas of the world of health. The Foundation itself gives, assess, debates and publishes everything that could be of interest to the general public, health professionals and experts alike.
The Foundation also aims to be a reference point and forum for all the actors working in the health sector as well as for the general public. It is a meeting point for professionals in the sector from which we promote any type of activity related to health affairs and work for the benefit of patients and the general public, defending the interests of the health professions in a cooperative way.
